Inka-Gold The gold of the Inca: apply - polish - done! For the people of the Inca Empire it was easy to get gold and silver, because nature had plenty of precious metals to offer. Gold, "the sweat of the sun," could be recovered from the rivers and silver, the "tears of the moon," from the mines. With Viva Decor Inka-Gold, we have the perfect solution to easily transform many items into a precious one-of-a-kind piece: We have developed unique metallic colors that can be used by everyone. The special thing about these high gloss colors is that they dry just by polishing. Apply - polish - done! The Incas appreciated pieces that were made with a lot of work by human hands. With our highly pigmented paste, anyone can create stunningly beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces quickly and easily, even from boring objects with absorbent, oven-porous surfaces, such as untreated wood, MDF or cardboard/paper, and more! Non-absorbent, smooth surfaces should be primed with Gesso or Ceramic Effect from Viva Decor to create an absorbent base. There are no limits to your creativity Inca gold stencil Apply any color Inka-Gold over the surface with a sponge. After drying, lay the stencil on smoothly and dab over the stencil with another color of Inka-Gold and an extra sponge. Decoration palette with Inca gold In this example, picture frames and other decorative elements were painted flat with Inka-Gold and attached to a pallet. Inka-Gold wet on wet Paint Inka-Gold wet with a brush, working different colors into each other. Allow to dry and polish. For the raised look, in our example a stencil motif was previously filled with Viva Decor Relief paper paste. For the shabby look, sand the corners and edges at the end. Inka-Gold and concrete effect The special Inka-Gold color pastes enhance any object! In this example, the timer was first painted with Inka-Gold Apricot all over. After drying, one half was spackled with the Viva Decor Concrete Effect, and stenciled on the other side. Example application Inka-Gold finishing The soft shine of Inka-Gold is very easy to apply with a sponge! Briefly polish over once more and the graceful colors shimmer. Step 1 Important, to ensure durability: remove the required amount of Inka-Gold from the can in advance, e.g. with a clean spatula! Step 2 Wipe flat with a sponge onto absorbent surfaces such as wood, cardboard, paperboard, clay, concrete, etc. Step 3 Patinate the edges with a second color if desired. Then polish to a shine with a fresh sponge.
