6x12 Antique Brass Floor Register SPH612-A for Home Decor

I originally wanted a plain white register for my bathroom but this caught my eye when I was browsing. It’s lovely and understated. Definitely an upgrade from plain white and the price is very fair. Glad I went with this one!East to install and looks great the metal seems sturdy. Gave 5 stars bc overall quality good only thing that could make it better is there is no directional adjustment. It is either open or closed can't direct air flow in a direction.Makes my new floor look so much better and elegant.Perfect fit, high quality. These look great and will outlast me.And rich lookingI love these vent grates. Very easy to install, looks so nice. Very inexpensive way to make the floors look clean and crisp. I bought ones for the whole house.Great value for the money! About 75% cheaper than any hardware store, yet same great product.Quality replacement especially from the metal ones that are built so cheap. I like how you can stick a filter in it so dirt and dander doesn’t get in the duct.Yet to carpet the room but just sat on bare boards this looks better than the cheaply made nasty louvred on with had before. Feels robust and the ability to close the air flow off is a bonus. I have added a fine anti insect mesh to the underside just to stop my wife panicking about anything crawling through from below. Lovely looking piece of kit, well made.These were bought when we had plans for a boarder to the room, but that was changed to a plainer finish so they stand out more although they are located in the corners clear of joists.The only issue we had was the small clearance around the edges of the filter moulding that made accuracy in the hole for the filters quite important.Used this to replace yucky plastic one. Will fit in a normal brick sized hole. My decorator had to dig out brick for mine to fit. Mine needs some no more nails to fix in. Overall a fab improvement. Good value. Good quality looks more expensive than it is.The grill looks great. You do need to have a hole which is at least 4" by 10" to accept the black plastic molding (or be prepared to do some mild engineering) but the important piece is the decorative plate which really does look good. Only been in place for 1 day so I can not comment on "rusting" as some others have done. On first appearance, this is a good product - it is just a shame I don't live in the US where prices are significantly cheaper.My fire installer wanted to charge circa £80 for plain ones but I found these brilliant glad i did they are easy to fit ant look great in the floorboards
